However to become a Ranger you need: 22 weeks of OSUT, 3 weeks of airborne, 2 weeks of air assault, and 8 weeks of rasp, total 35 weeks of training, not including schools like jungle, HALO, etc.

And, as someone else pointed out, Delta doesn't care if you were a leg pastry chef in your previous military career if you can make it through their selection process and get picked up by the unit.
